The TecnoCampus has been the setting for the presentation of the second edition of the LUDI Awards, aimed at higher degree students in video game development in Catalonia. These awards, organised by the digital content platform 3Cat in collaboration with GameBCN, the video game incubation programme, were created last year with the aim of offering university students the opportunity to showcase their talent and skills to companies in the sector located in Barcelona.
The initiative seeks to highlight the growing level of quality in video game development in Catalonia. In the first edition, 79 students from seven centers participated, presenting a total of 24 prototypes. The Mataró TecnoCampus, which offers a Degree in Video Game Design and Production, had an outstanding participation, with half of its projects winning awards.
