This recognition granted in the <strong>delivery of certifications to companies, entities and tourist services of the commitment for tourism sustainability Biosphere, <\/strong>accredits compliance with good practices to ensure a more responsible tourism model aligned with the <strong>Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 agenda.<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>The <strong>&#8220;Commitment to sustainable tourism in the Barcelona Biosphere areas&#8221;<\/strong> is a programme promoted by the <strong>Barcelona Provincial Council<\/strong>, aimed at <strong>companies, services and public entities<\/strong> that want to improve their management in tourism sustainability and strengthen their positioning as a destination. This certification ensures that the participating entities implement responsible practices in key areas such as <strong>climate change, environment, social, economic and cultural aspects.<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Tecnocampus Congress Centre and the services it offers <\/strong>have been recognized as &#8220;Congress Hall&#8221; within the methodology of the program, overcoming a diagnosis of the degree of sustainability, a plan for continuous improvement and verification of their commitment to sustainability.<\/p>\n<p>Obtaining the<strong> Biosphere sea<\/strong>l brings multiple advantages to the<strong> Tecnocampus Congress Centre,<\/strong> consolidating it as a reference space for <strong>corporate events and sustainable congresses<\/strong> in northern Barcelona.
